Energia: parte l’insicuro oleodotto Btc 25.05.2005 A Baku in Azerbaigian si è tenuta la cerimonia di apertura del tratto zero dell’oleodotto Baku-Tbilisi-Cheyan (Btc), che una volta completato sarà il più lungo al mondo. Il progetto da quattro miliardi di dollari è stato fortemente voluto dagli Stati Uniti, desiderosi di sfruttare il ricchissimo bacino petrolifero del Caspio. Altri due rapporti delle organizzazioni ambientaliste criticano l’insicurezza della pipeline verificata anche da un’indagine del parlamento inglese. Tra i finanziatori dell’oleodotto oltre a Banca Intesa, che sotto le pressioni ha deciso di ritirarsi dal progetto, rimane San Paolo Imi alla quale viene chiesta una scelta di responsabilità sociale.
