Conflict in Rwanda
The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda is set to close in 2010 but more than half its cases have yet to go to trial. There is a funding shortfall for the tribunal and a lack of international cooperation in the investigations.

Rwandan President Paul Kagame and the new prosecutor for the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR), Hassan Jallow, pledged on Thursday to work together to speed up the process of bringing to justice perpetrators of the 1994 genocide.
