Legittima difesa: un nuovo spaghetti western?

27.01.2006 La riforma della legge sulla legittima difesa introdotta dal deputato On. Luciano Dussin � stata approvata in forma definitiva dal Parlamento italiano il 24 gennaio scorso. La nuova formulazione dell�articolo 52 del codice penale in materia di diritto all�autotutela in un privato domicilio, autorizza il ricorso ad un�arma legittimamente detenuta o altro mezzo idoneo al fine di difendere :
a) la propria o altrui incolumit�;
b) i beni propri o altrui, quando non vi � desistenza e vi � pericolo d�aggressione.
Tale disposizione si applica anche all�interno di ogni altro luogo ove venga esercitata un�attivit� commerciale, professionale o imprenditoriale.
Una prima tappa era gi� stata raggiunta il 6 luglio 2005, giorno dell�approvazione del provvedimento da parte del Senato della Repubblica, quasi due anni dopo la presentazione del testo al Parlamento. Il voto favorevole ottenuto dalla Camera dei Deputati sancisce l�integrazione del nuovo testo nell�arsenale giuridico italiano, non senza qualche polemica.

Renewed fighting breaks out in Nepal

Ad Introdacqua un aereo militare

20.01.2006 L'Amministrazione Comunale di Introdacqua, piccolo comune in provincia di L'Aquila, vuole sistemare un aereo da caccia F104 in un giardino pubblico, l'unico del paese. In un articolo di stampa (allegato) il Sindaco di Introdacqua ha dichiarato che l'aereo sar� "un simbolo di pace ed una attrazione turistica" in memoria di tre aviatori morti in un incidente di volo, sulle montagne del paese, nel 1951. Introdacqua gi� ricorda i tre piloti con un monumento ricoperto da muschi e licheni. I pacifisti e nonviolenti di Introdacqua chiedono di spedire e di far spedire una e.mail o un fax (0864-47116) al Sindaco di Introdacqua per esprimere il dissenso, in modo pacifico, all'installazione, in una zona a verde pubblico, di un aereo da caccia F 104, come richiamo turistico e messaggio di pace.

Convegno nazionale della Campagna 'banche armate'

16.01.2006 Un osservatorio permamente sul finanziamento delle banche all'industria armiera, ma anche il coordinamento con le associazioni europee che gi� svolgono attivit� di monitoraggio del settore e l'impegno per estendere all'Ue la normativa italiana sulla trasparenza bancaria nelle operazioni di appoggio delle banche al commercio di armi: sono questi alcuni degli impegni assunti dalla Campagna di pressione alle "banche armate" che sabato scorso a Roma ha celebrato il suo primo convegno nazionale. La Campagna ha incassato subito un risultato proprio dalla prima "banca armata" d'Italia nel 2004: "Nel corso del 2005 Capitalia ha ridotto di oltre il 70% gli importi delle transazioni legate a operazioni di export di armamenti" - ha infatti annunciato al Convegno il direttore generale di Capitalia Carmine Lamanda. Un confronto a tutto campo � emerso dal dibattito tra i promotori della Campagna e il direttore generale di Capitalia. Al dibattito non si � presentato l'on. Giuseppe Cossiga (FI) relatore per il Governo sulla Relazione sull'export di armi. "Un'assenza ingiustificata che non lascia intravvedere niente di buono per quanto riguarda le annunciate modifiche alla legge 195" - commenta Giorgio Beretta, coordinatore della Campagna.

14.01.2006 Con l'anno nuovo � iniziata a New York la fase preparativa della prima grande Conferenza Onu di revisione del commercio delle piccole armi e sono numerose le iniziative: la Santa Sede nei giorni scorsi ha chiesto alla comunit� internazionale di preparare e adottare un trattato che regoli il commercio delle armi leggere, una proposta sostenuta dalla Campagna internazionale Control Arms. In Italia domani la Campagna di pressione alle "banche armate" terr� a Roma il primo convegno nazionale a sei anni dal lancio dell'iniziativa e il giorno successivo la Rete Disarmo terr� sempre a Roma l'Assemblea per fare il punto dopo due anni di azioni comuni, mentre in Lombardia la campagna che promuove la Legge regionale per la riconversione dell'industria bellica annuncia che la proposta di legge � stata posta all'ordine del giorno della IV Commissione Attivit� Produttive del Consiglio Regionale. Una recente analisi di Gianni Alioti (Fim-Cisl) mostra la contrazione dell'occupazione nel settore dell'industria bellica nonostante l'aumento delle spese militari nel mondo.
